The Weatherpine Inn is for sale.
After 18 successful seasons running the WeatherPine it is time for us to move on to new adventures and put it up for sale.. It has been a great experience meeting so many wonderful people, many who have become friends. If you are looking for a house that can generate income if you wish this could be for you.
Built in the style of a Georgian saltbox, WeatherPine exudes country inn charm. The house was built in 1994 and while having the look of a century home, it has the upgrades of a newer house. The house has a total of 7 bedrooms. Five are currently used for the Inn, one is our master bedroom and one is located in the basement. All rooms have their own ensuite bathroom. All rooms have their own access from the exterior and give both guests and owners the freedom to come and go as they please. The room in the basement is not available to guests and there is room to build a second bedroom. A 2-way gas fireplace is the highlight of the living room. There is a parking space for all 5 rooms as well as the owners vehicles. Most of the roof has been replaced over the last 5 years. The furnace was replaced in 2008 and a HEPA filter was also added. The back and front lawns have inground sprinklers and the deck flower baskets use a drip system. A small office is located on the second floor. A large private deck is located in the backyard with a covered portion for BBQ on inclement days.

We are located in a quiet section of the town, away from the summertime hustle and bustle downtown, yet only a 10 minute walk from downtown. Across the street from us is the Pillar and Post hotel which has a fine dining restaurant and hosts many weddings. They have just built further wedding facilities which should increase the number of people looking for accommodation. Wineries are not in small numbers with many within a 10 minute drive. Of course the Shaw Festival theatre is a major attraction and brings many visitors to town, a number of which come every year. For those with an interest in history, especially the War of 1812, we have Fort George about a 15 minute walk from the house as well as many other historical sites in the area. If golf is your game we have the oldest golf course in North America, as well as many other courses in the area including Whirlpool, Thundering Waters, Royal Niagara and Legends.
If you are looking for a place to retire or just want to move away from busy city life, Niagara on the Lake is the place for you and the WeatherPine Inn can bring ongoing income if you so desire.
